Everyday Connections and Actors Community Theater of Seymour have partnered to present Talented Unlimited.

The inaugural talent show for adults with disabilities is set for 2 p.m. Feb. 29 at the theater, 357 Tanger Blvd., Suite 208, at Shops at Seymour. If more than 20 people register, a second show will be at 6 p.m. Practice will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 28.

Participants may perform alone, with a friend or in a small group for up to 5 minutes. Talents may include singing, playing an instrument, comedy, a monologue or short skit, a magic trick, a dance or another skill. Participants will be responsible to provide any necessary music or props.

Also, those who prefer to showcase artwork during this time may submit one piece for display.

Thanks to a grant from Walmart, the event will be free for all participants and audience members. Concessions also will be available at no cost. Donations to assist with facility usage and future events will be appreciated.

Anyone who would like to register as a participant should complete a registration form by Feb. 18. The form may be obtained by emailing [email protected] or calling or texting 812-767-4934. It can then be returned via email, calling or texting or turning it in at the front desk at Developmental Services Inc., 1820 First Ave., Seymour.
