The Jackson/Brown county IN 2a United organization plans to read the U.S. Constitution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 22 from the steps of the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

The event is open to the public.

J.D. Fish of Freetown, who created the organization, said the Constitution will be read and not interpreted. The hope is to educate or refresh people on whatever their rights and liberties are, he said.
