Schneck board inducts new member, reappoints one

The Schneck Medical Center board of trustees inducted new member Brandon Harpe and reappointed Terry Gilliland during its January meeting. 

Gilliland has served on the board since 2011 and currently is in his fourth term. He serves as board secretary and vice president of Health Development Corp., a subsidiary of Schneck Medical Center.

He and his wife, Cindy, live in Norman. He is a Vietnam War veteran and is retired from careers in law enforcement and insurance.

Harpe is superintendent of Seymour Community School Corp. A graduate of Oakland City University, Harpe joined the corporation in 1999 as a teacher and coach. He served as dean of students, assistant principal, athletic director and assistant and interim superintendent until becoming superintendent in 2019.

He also serves on a number of community boards. Harpe lives in Seymour with this wife, Natalie, and three children.
