February book discussions set at Jackson Co Public Library

Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups plan to gather to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more in February at the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries.

The groups are open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement. The books are available to borrow at the checkout desks.

The Tuesday Night Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. They will meet Feb. 11 at Buffet China in Seymour. Information Services Manager Janet Hensen will lead the review of “Pigs in Heaven” by Barbara Kingsolver.

The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets the third Wednesday of each month, will gather and share their thoughts on “The Woman in Cabin 10” by Ruth Ware at 6 p.m. Feb. 19.

Fantastic Fiction will discuss “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak at 11 a.m. Feb 21 at the Seymour Library. Led by Circulation Assistant Jordann Malone, this group meets the third Friday of each month.

The Medora Library discussion group will meet a week late at 5:30 p.m. March 2 to talk about “The Healing Quilt” by Wanda Brunstetter. Circulation Manager Christina Hime leads the group.
