Alameda “Ami” R. Caudill, 76, of Oakmont, Pennsylvania, originally of Columbus, passed away January 16, 2020, in Pittsburgh.

Ami was born November 24, 1943 in Heppner, Oregon, the daugher of Bill and Ada Osborne Duran. She married George Caudill, who preceded her in death on April 19, 2004.

Ami was a security guard at Cummins Engine Company for over 25 years. She enjoyed researching genealogy, horseback riding, painting, and gardening. Most of all, Ami loved spending time with her family.

The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday January 23, 2020 at the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Stormes officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Thursday. Burial will be at Old Regular Baptist Cemetery in Freetown.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation thru the funeral home.

Ami is survived by her daughters Renee (Jim) Grace of Crothersville, Indiana and Karen Campbell of Texas; grandchildren Damarla Taylor, Samantha Smith, Kyle Kluesener, Kara Kluesener Sparks, Tamara Taylor, Amanda Shuey, Mitchell Grace, James Crawford Grace, and Bethany Dandridge; great-grandchildren Ember Shuey, Aryah Taylor, Charlotte Sparks, Jason Shuey, and Aidan Laws; as well as sisters Kay Kelly of Florida, Frances Myatt of California, and Delores McQuigg of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter Michelle Taylor; sons Peter Richard Vellis and Bryan Wayne Reynolds; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
