The Crothersville Community School Corp. board of trustees recently approved the 2020-21 school calendar.

Staff orientation and in-service will be July 31, and students will start Aug. 3.

School will not be in session Sept. 7 for Labor Day, Oct. 5 through 9 for fall break, Nov. 25 through 27 for Thanksgiving break and Dec. 21 through Jan. 1 for Christmas break. Students and staff will return from Christmas break Jan. 4.

There will be no school Nov. 3 for Election Day, Jan. 18 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Feb. 15 for Presidents Day. The latter two could be used for makeup days if needed.

School also won’t be in session March 22 through 26 for spring break and April 2 for Good Friday. The latter could be used as a makeup day.

Built-in snow days are scheduled for April 5 and May 7.

The last day of school for students is set for May 21, and the staff’s last day is May 24. Graduation for the Class of 2021 will be at 8 p.m. May 21 in the high school gymnasium.
