The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Brownstown Elementary School, 612 S. Base Road.

Before that meeting, there will be a work session at 6 p.m. to receive community input regarding representation on the school board. It’s open to the public and press.

Then there will be an executive session, closed to the public and press, at 7 p.m. to receive information about prospective employees and discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction.

The public and press are invited to attend the board of finance meeting at 7:25 p.m. before the regular monthly meeting.

Agenda items for the board of finance meeting are to organize for 2020 and receive a report of 2019 investments.

On the agenda for the regular meeting are Students of the Month, principal reports, an elementary presentation, a resolution to transfer monies from the education fund to the operations fund, a memorandum between the corporation and the Community Foundation of Jackson County, advertising for the high school gymnasium floor, first reading of proposed changes to the student random drug testing policy and a superintendent report.
