A community food drive conducted by Healthy Jackson County during the holiday season received 1,465 pounds of food, which went to food pantries throughout the county.

The food drive ran from Nov. 4 to Dec. 13. 

Donations were shared with Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry, Community Provisions of Jackson County and Seymour Christian Church, all in Seymour; Brownstown Church of the Nazarene and Shed for You, both in Brownstown; and Medora Christian Church.
