Mrs. Delena Beavers, 76, of Seymour, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020. She was born in Seymour to the late Henry P. and Opal (Findley) Beineke.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Peters Switch Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Keith Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday at Peters Switch Church of the Nazarene from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

She was a member of Peters Switch Church of the Nazarene. On June 1, 1962, Delena married Richard E. Beavers; he preceded her in death on September 6, 2006. She was a loving housewife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was co-owner of Culligan Water in Seymour for 44 years.

Delena is survived by her children, Karen (Stan) Taskey, Kevin (Deanna) Beavers; grandchildren, Jason (Meghan) Taskey, Jessica Taskey, Samuel Beavers, Benjamin Beavers, Kelly Beavers; great-grandchildren, Anniston Taskey and Addaley Taskey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.
