Crothersville stays perfect in SAC

The Crothersville Tigers moved to 3-0 in the Southern Athletic Conference after a 51-46 victory over Henryville on Tuesday night.

Makayla Helt and Zoe Spangler went off for double-digit point totals against the Hornets, netting 16 and 12, respectively, to lead the Tigers.

Addy Cole chipped in nine, Isabell Lewis added seven, Makinzee Isley scored four, Grace Wilson tallied two and Rebekah Cook had a point to round out the Crothersville scoring.

Isley led the Tigers in the rebounding department with 15 while Helt also led the Tigers with five assists.

Swimming

Sabotin wins twice at Indian Creek

The Trinity Lutheran swim team battled tough at the Indian Creek Artic Swim Blast on Tuesday night.

Rachel Sabotin won the 100-yard freestyle for the Cougars, coming in with a time of 55.20 seconds. Ethan Myers placed sixth in the same event for the boys with a time of 1:03.92.

Sabotin also won the 100 breast stroke with a time of 1:10.07, which is a half-faster than her seed time for the event.
