Seymour girls basketball skills sessions 

There will be several skills and drills sessions held at the Cortland Elementary School gym from 7 p.m. to 8:15 throughout January and February for second grade girls interested in playing basketball.

Sessions will take place on Jan. 3, Jan. 20, Jan. 27, Jan. 30, Feb. 3, Feb. 6, Feb. 10, Feb. 13, Feb. 17 and Feb. 20. 

This is a free opportunity and players are not required to attend each session. 

Seymour travel team tryouts coming up

The Seymour Youth Basketball Association will be having tryouts for its fifth grade girls travel team on Jan. 8 at the Seymour High School main gym.

Tryouts will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 and check-in will be in the commons area.
