AUSTIN

Marsha L. Lucas, 64, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.

Marsha was born in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Thelma and Frank Lucas.

She is survived by her sisters; Rhonda P. (James) Cobb and Sara Chumley.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents.

Marsha loved her church and she was well loved by all. Marsha also enjoyed sitting and eating by the fireplace at Cracker Barrel in Scottsburg.

Marsha was awarded the Eli Lilly Diabetes Journey award for having managed her diabetes with insulin for 50 years.

Her funeral service will be held at Apostolic Tabernacle on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at

11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at First Marion Baptist Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana.

Friends and family may call at the Apostolic Tabernacle on Saturday, December 28, 2019, from

9-11 a.m.
