Tigers coach Kevin Hensley earns 100th win 

A big night from Makayla Helt paced the Crothersville girls basketball team to a 68-49 win over South Decatur on Thursday night and gave head coach Kevin Hensley his 100th win.

Helt led the Tigers with a season-high 23 points with 15 of them coming in the second half. She also had four assists and four steals.

Addy Cole also scored in double figures for the Tigers, totaling 17 points, and pulled down six boards.

Rounding out the scoring for the Tigers, Kennadi Lakins, Isabell Lewis and Grace Wilson each had six, and Makinzee Isley and Rebekah Cook had four each.

Big night on the boards leads Trinity to victory

The Trinity Lutheran girls basketball team nabbed 68 rebounds Thursday night against Edinburgh.

The sizable rebounding margin led the Cougars to a 71-57 win over the Lancers.

Hannah Sabotin led the Cougars with 23 rebounds to go along with her 12 points, while Sydney Jaynes had 18 rebounds and 12 points.

Bailey Tabeling led all scorers with 36 points while also hauling in 13 boards. Emma Schepman and Kailene Cockerham rounded out the Cougar scoring with seven and four points, respectively.
