The Jackson County Public Library invites beginners to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters to enjoy working on their projects together this month at Knit and Crochet Night at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.
This free drop-in program meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months; however, the Dec. 26 session is canceled because the library will be closed.
Beginners should bring short size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to learn either craft. Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new knit or crochet patterns furnished to the group.
