SEYMOUR

Tyler T. Shafer of Seymour and formally of Kentucky passed away November 18, 2019. Born 1978 in Wabash, Indiana he was the son of Charles R. and Charlene (Taylor) Shafer.

Tyler graduated for Southwood High School in Wabash in 1997 where he played football and wrestled. He was baptized in January 1979 and confirmed in April 1991 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wabash. He was most recently a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour. He enjoyed animals, hiking, camping, reading, volleyball games, and watching the Colts, Pacer and I.U. teams play. Tyler was a independent contractor, working as a welder, machinist and truck driver.

Survivors include is daughter, Nevaeh Josephine Shafer of Seymour; his parents, Charles and Charlene Shafer of Seymour; his brother, Troy T. Shafer and wife Cai of Farragut, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Max and Annabel Taylor an Robert and Evelyn Shafer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre were entrusted with services. Memorial can be made in memory of Tyler to Red Sky Rescue, Zion Lutheran Church or Donor’s Choice.
