Few issues have been reported during Tuesday’s municipal election, officials said.
Clerk Melissa Hayes said the primary issue has been that voters outside city and town limits have gone to polling locations thinking they are eligible to vote.
Hayes said 1,066 people voted early, by mail and by travel board.
As of 3:04 p.m., turnout so far is as follows:
Seymour
Jackson 3N and Jackson 5E – 311
Jackson 1E and Redding City – 307
Jackson 4N and Jackson 5N – 623
Jackson 2W and Jackson 2E – 130
Jackson 3S and Jackson 4S – 288
Total – 1,659 or 19.49%.
Brownstown
Brownstown 1, Brownstown 2 and Brownstown 4 – 166, or 9.32%.
Crothersville
Vernon – 196, 19.82%.
Medora
Carr – 74, or 18.73%.
Total votes throughout the county 2,095 – or 17.94%.
