Fifth grade basketball tournament this weekend

The Seymour fifth grade basketball tournament will take place Saturday at the Lloyd E. Scott Gymnasium.

Teams from Cortland, Jackson, Emerson, Redding and Brown elementary schools will battle for the championship starting at 10 a.m.

Game 1 will start at 10 a.m., followed by games 2 and 3 at 11:15 a.m. The championship game will take place at 12:30 p.m.

Admission for the day is $5 with students admitted for free. Fans are asked to enter through the Seymour High School commons.
