FREETOWN

Mr. Rex Allen Blackwood, 67, of Freetown, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born in Seymour to the late James K. and Betty J. (Williams) Blackwood.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, November 2 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Gary Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service.

He enjoyed auto racing and dirt track racing. He was a retired from auto body repair.

Rex is survived by his children, Leota (David) Satterthwaite, Kyan (Doug) Arnold, Kenya King, Jordan (Amber) Cook; grandchildren, Zach, Kyle, Cody, Allie, Kennedy, Destiny, Riley, Lexi, Keenan; great-grandchildren, Landon, Jodeci; brother, Steven (Barb) Blackwood; sister, Sharon (Mark) Percival.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lyle Blackwood.
