The First United Methodist Church women are sponsoring the 18th annual Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the church, 201 E. Third St., Seymour.

The event will feature exhibitors from the surrounding area displaying their merchandise. Items to browse through will include clothing, crocheted and knitted items, Christmas decorations, crafts of all kinds, jewelry, purses, hair bows, embroidered items, candy, cookies and more.

Lunch, along with baked goods and candies, coffee and soft drinks, will be available throughout the day.

There also will be a silent auction with items including Cincinnati Reds tickets, gift certificates to local restaurants and businesses and more.

Proceeds will go to local mission agencies and United Methodist mission groups.
