Seymour man convicted of child molesting arrested

A Seymour man convicted of child molesting who fled police before his trial was over Wednesday has been arrested in Kentucky, authorities report.

Franklin R. Lee, 40, was arrested by Louisville Metro Police Department Saturday, Jackson County Sheriff Rick Meyer said.

Meyer said police were able to determine his location after Lee made a phone to a local person.

Police determined his location by pinging his phone and Louisville police were able to locate his vehicle.

Lee faces between 20 and 40 years after an incident in April 2018. He had been out of jail on a $10,000 bond since Oct. 11, 2018, according to court
