Seymour city offices, the department of public works and Seymour Transit will close Monday for the Columbus Day holiday.

Trash, recycling and yard waste normally picked up Monday will instead be picked up Tuesday.

County offices along with municipal offices in Brownstown, Crothersville and Medora also will be closed that day.
