
Mallory Nierman of Brownstown recently became a junior member of the American Angus Association, according to a report from Mark McCully, chief executive officer of the St. Joseph, Missouri-based organization.
Junior members are eligible to register cattle in the association and participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association, association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.
The association is the largest beef breed association in the world and has more than 25,000 adult and junior members.
