Seymour High School celebrated homecoming Sept. 27 with powder puff football, tug-of-war and cornhole in the morning. Seniors also got to participate in a senior picnic at Shields Park.

After school, students could participate in Tents and Tailgates on the high school front lawn and take a sledgehammer to an old beat-up car as a fundraiser for SHS’s Riley Dance Marathon.

Later during the Jackson Bowl game at Bulleit Stadium, seniors Chloe Criswell and Aiden Goen were crowned homecoming king and queen.

But the night ended on a lower note for the Owls as the Brownstown Braves won the game 34 to 28.
