
Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E and B Paving Inc. plans to close ramps to and from Interstate 65 at Exit 64 (State Road 58/Walesboro) in Bartholomew County next week for ramp resurfacing.
Crews will begin with milling on northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps, followed by paving. Ramp closures are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.
Planned closures are:
- Monday, State Road 58 ramps to/from I-65 northbound (milling)
- Tuesday, State Road 58 ramps to/from I-65 southbound (milling)
- Wednesday, State Road 58 ramps to/from I-65 northbound (paving)
- Sept. 26: State Road 58 ramps to/from I-65 southbound (paving)
Ramp resurfacing is part of the $143 million added travel lanes and reconstruction project on I-65 between Seymour and Columbus that began last year. The project is scheduled to be complete by August 2020.
All work is weather permitting.
