The Sauers Extension Homemakers Club met Sept. 10 at the home of Millie Otte.

After the Pledge of Allegiance and club creed, Otte had devotions entitled "Work out your own salvation."

Members filled out yearbooks, and a picture was taken with all of the books donated to the Shed for You community building in Brownstown.

Rose Elmer and Gertie Schepman announced the club anniversary will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at Larrison’s Diner in Seymour.

Otte read a couple of humorous articles and had games, prizes and refreshments.
