MEDORA

Margie Illa (Reynolds) Thompson, age 90, of Medora. Passed away peacefully on September 15, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Margie entered this life on July 23, 1929, in Sparksville Indiana. She was one of 5 children born to Clarence & Jessie (Smith) Reynolds.

Margie was a graduate of Medora High the class of 1947. The day after she graduated, on May 8, 1947, Margie married her beloved Harley. From this 72-year union, they were blessed with four children: Denver Dale, Harold Alan, Brenda Reve, and Robert Kent.

She was an avid bowler and loved playing Bingo. Margie traveled throughout the country going state to state participating in bowling tournaments.

Margie retired from the Medora Plastics Company after 21 years. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church of Medora

Memories of Margie will be cherished by her loving husband, Harley, her loving children: Harold Thompson and his wife Rhonda, Brenda Beyers and her husband Joe, Bob Thompson and his wife Judy; her two sisters: Betty Bennett and her husband Robert, and Nancy Engleking and her husband Kenneth, a Daughter -in- law: Peggy Thompson, 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Denver, and her 2 grandchildren: Melissa Thompson and Lynetta Skaggs.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, September 20, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Hague Funeral Home of Medora, with Pastor Skip Breeden officiating. Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Hague Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the service.
