The congregation of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church invites the public to attend a gospel concert featuring The Texans at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 550 W. County Road 975N, Seymour.

The group’s ministry was originally organized as Masters Four at Dallas Christian College. In 1981, it became known as The Texans. Over the years, they have been awarded many honors, including Branson Entertainers of the Year.

In 2014, The Texans formed a new ministry named T.I.M. (The Texans International Ministries). This ministry provides and distributes resources to missionaries around the world.

There is no admission charge for the concert, but a love offering will be taken to support the group’s ministry.

A time of food and fellowship will follow the service.
