After a lengthy illness, Carol A. Bobb, of Seymour, peacefully passed away at home on September 12, 2019 at 8:45 p.m. surrounded by family and clergy.

She was born to the late Robert and Evelyn Klinge on November 25, 1943.

She is survived by sons, Randy Bobb and Roger (Sonia) Bobb, grandchildren, Whitney (Zach) Jaunzemis and Jeremy (Amanda) Bobb), and great-grandchildren, Emrick and Louna Bobb. Also surviving are her sister, Marcia (Tom) Snyder, and brother Dennis (Pam) Klinge.

Carol retired from Cummins Engine Co. on April 1, 1996 after 31 years. She worked towards a BA degree at IUPUC, Columbus, but was forced to quit due to health reasons needing only 30 more credit hours. She studied piano for 7 years and helped with English as a Second Language Program. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour where she sang in the church choir, played hand bells, and volunteered with annual attendance records.

Carol also did extensive traveling to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Hawaii, Barbados, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, and Colorado.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour, with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg officiating. Interment follow at Emanuel Cemetery in Dudleytown.
