Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will conduct nightly lane closures on northbound and southbound Interstate 65 beginning Sunday evening between Scottsburg and Seymour.

The crack sealing operations will take place nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Wednesday and also Sept. 15 through the morning of Sept. 18 between Exit 29 (Scottsburg) and Exit 50 (Seymour).

Crews will start working northbound from Scottsburg and start southbound from Seymour.

Crack sealing will help preserve existing pavement and prepare the roadway for winter weather.

Motorists are urged to slow down, use extra caution and watch for slowed traffic in and near all work zones. All work is weather permitting.
