Pottschmidt-Benter engagement

Lydia Pottschmidt of Seymour and Kyle Benter of Brownstown plan to marry at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour with a reception to follow at Pewter Hall in Brownstown.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Leon and Christy Pottschmidt, and the groom-to-be is the son of Kevin and Tammie Benter.

Lydia graduated from Seymour High School in 2014. She attended Purdue University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in public health in 2018. She attends Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health in Indianapolis and will graduate with a Master’s of Health Administration degree in 2020. She is an MHA intern with JWM Newrology in Indianapolis and an administrative trainee at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Kyle graduated from Brownstown Central High School in 2014. He attended Purdue University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture business in 2018. He is employed at Premier Ag in Seymour as a dry fertilizer applicator.
