The northbound lanes of Interstate 65 at Exit 55 have been closed as first responders clear the wreckage of an overturned semitrailer.

Sgt. Stephen Wheeles with the Indiana State Police said the crash occurred at Mile-Maker 58 in Bartholomew County around 6 a.m.

He said it will be a lengthy closure and may last until this afternoon.

Motorists should use U.S. 31 or State Road 11 during the closure.
