
A Southeast Purdue Ag Center field day is scheduled to start at 4:30 Aug. 27 at the center, 4425 E. County Road 350N, Butlerville.
The event is free and open to the public.
Topics to be presented include interactions of insecticides/pollinators/cucurbits; weed management/herbicide technologies; corn fertility; and soybean high yield management.
The presentations will be conducted by Purdue Extension specialists and educators.
A free fish fry dinner will feature guest speakers Tom Keene, an extension hemp specialist with the University of Kentucky, and state District 69 Rep. Jim Lucas, R-Seymour. Both will speak about industrial hemp.
PARP, CCH and CEU credits are available. Those wishing to receive PARP credit must bring $10 and their private applicator license to the program. RSVPs are appreciated.
