Edward Spicer, 90, of Seymour, Indiana passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at Seymour Crossing in Seymour, Indiana. Born April 17, 1929 in Altro, KY, he was the son of the late Kelly and Easter (Arrowood) Spicer. He was married to Robbie (Merritt) Spicer, who survives in Alabama.

Edward was retired from Cummins Engine in Columbus, Indiana in 1983 after 33 years and served during the Korean War in the U.S. Marines.

Survivors include: Son: Bob (Susan) Spicer, Crothersville, Indiana; Daughters: Peggy Davidson, Seymour, Indiana and Alice Brock, Crothersville, Indiana; Stepson: Cecil (Sherry) Hart, Auburn, Alabama; Stepdaughter: Jennie Smith, Opelika, Alabama; Step-Grandson Levi Hart, Auburn, Alabama.

He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Julia (James) Lucas, John Beckemeyer, Christina (Shane) Busbu, Ashley Spicer, and Mitch Spicer and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Hillard Spicer, Golden Masters, Noah Spicer, Jason Spicer, William Spicer, and an infant daughter.

Graveside Service: 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana with Rev. Mike Seaney officiating.

Burial will be at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
