A public hearing will be conducted at the beginning of Monday night’s Medora Community School Corp. board of trustees meeting.

The purpose of the hearing at 6 p.m. in the library at the school, 82 S. George St., Medora, is to discuss and determine the dollar amount reduction in the school corporation’s employer contribution rate to the teachers retirement fund. Trustees also will discuss the actions they intend to take with that amount.

Following that hearing, trustees will have their regular monthly meeting. The only agenda item is consideration of approval of 2019-20 textbook rental costs.

Both meetings are open to the public and press.

The board also will meet in executive session at 5:30 p.m. in the conference room of the school office. The purpose of that meeting, closed to the public and press, is to discuss items related to personnel.
