A free class about essential oils will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

The adults-only class is for anyone interested in learning about 12 essential oils and their various health and wellness benefits.

Participants will learn about what essential oils are and how they are used, why purity matters and which oils to start with.

Essential oils are everywhere these days. But what are they? How do they actually benefit you? And how do you know which ones are safe?

This 45-minute class, presented by Kimberly Soot, will help answer your questions and get you on your way to using essential oils in your day-to-day life safely and successfully.

Registration is requested and may be done at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.
