Seymour police investigating shooting


A shooting Saturday evening in Seymour led to the arrest of one person, police report.

Chief Bill Abbott said the shooting, which involved two people, was reported sometime after 9 p.m. in the 200 block of South O’Brien Street.

Abbott said one person has been taken into custody.

No other details, including any injuries, are available at this time, and Abbott said there is no threat to the public.
