Church to host Global Leadership Summit simulcast

The two-day Global Leadership Summit will be simulcast live by satellite in high definition to more than 500 sites in North America on Thursday and Friday, including The Point, 311 Myers Lane, Seymour.

A list of speakers and registration information can be found online at gotothepoint.com/global-leadership-summit.

When the summit began in 1995, it was attended almost exclusively by church leaders. As its transferable principles spread outside the walls of the church, companies began sending teams to the summit, and many continue to use it as one of their core annual training events. This year, the summit is expected to draw more than 405,000 business, community and nonprofit leaders from around the world.

Each year, the summit brings together a diverse faculty each with their own unique perspective. Each member of the speaking team is purposefully selected for their expertise, proven success and innovative approaches in nonprofit, government, education and faith-based sectors.

This year’s faculty includes Bear Grylls, an adventurer, writer and television host; Jo Saxton, an author, leadership coach and entrepreneur; Aja Brown, mayor of Compton, California; and Chris Voss, a former FBI hostage negotiator and chief executive officer and founder of The Black Swan Group.
