Schneck Foundation, JCB sponsoring Medicare program

Medicare Simplified, a program to simplify the Medicare enrollment process, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 22 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 N. Walnut St., Seymour.

The program is for those who are considering enrolling in Medicare and trying to make a decision about where to start while likely getting bombarded with mail and trying to figure out coverage options, according to a news release.

As part of the Changing Places series, Schneck Foundation and JCB are presenting the seminar to help simplify the difficult process of Medicare enrollment and end the confusion and frustration.

Scott Donohue, a guest speaker with Medicare Simplified, will provide information on issues regarding Medicare choices, including:

  • Information on when and how to enroll in Medicare
  • Details on all of the components of Medicare
  • Directions on how to review and make changes to current coverage
  • What to consider if you have an employer plan

A complimentary dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
