Seymour's 1969 tennis team, coached by John Eastes, finished the spring season undefeated in its 13 matches. Their fall season proved to be almost as impressive with a record of 5-2. Jerry Looper and Roger Dieckmeyer teamed to win the doubles crown of the 1969 spring conference and in the process led the team to the conference title. Rod and Stu Hackman also took honors in te spring conference. Looper won the singles in the 1969 sectional while the team placed second.
