The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson County until 5:45 p.m. this evening.

Southeastern Bartholomew County and south central Jennings County also are included.

The Weather Service said hail damage to vehicles is expected and 60 mile per hour gusts are possible.

Damage to trees, roofs and siding is expected too, according to the Weather Service.
