Mr. Steven L. Corwin Sr., of Seymour, passed away early Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was the son of the late Danzil and Dorothy (Allman) Corwin.

Graveside services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Riverview Cemetery on Friday at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Tom Woodson officiating.

On June 23, 1967, in Jackson County, he married Diann S. (Foster) Corwin; she preceded him in death on April 29, 2007.

Steven is survived by his children, Cheryl (Rick) Smith and Steven (Robin) Corwin Jr.; grandchildren, Dr. Chance Rion Smith, McKenzie Danielle Corwin and Milo Grayson Corwin, great grandchild Mason J. Briones, siblings Joan (Allman) Grace, Rita Kay (Rosengarn) Thomas, Colleen Sue (Rosengarn) Rogers, Karen June (Rosengarn) Phillips, Debra Lynne (Rosengarn) Wininger.

Preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings Gary Lynn Rosengarn, Betty Jean (Rosengarn) Arney, and Rebecca Ruth (Rosengarn) Welch.

Steven was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served in the US Army as a med specialist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and his grandchildren. He took exceptional care of the people in Village Green as he managed the water treatment plant for 20 years.
