Mrs. Neva Louise Reedy, 94, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Freetown to the late Ray and Carrie (Forgey) Berry.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Surprise Christian Church on Saturday, June 1 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Acme Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service. An Eastern Star service will be Friday at 6:30 pm.

Mrs. Reedy was a member of Surprise Christian Church. She graduated from Freetown School in May 1942. On September 26, 1942, she married Harold Reedy.

Neva, along with her husband, operated grocery stores in Surprise and Freetown for many years. She was loved dearly by all of her family and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her children, James (Kathy) Reedy, Sue (Rickard) Blocker, Trish (Steven) Plummer and Micky (Sharon) Reedy; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; husband; son, Gary Reedy; sister, Ramona McKain; and daughter-in-law, Rita Reedy.
