Mr. Wayne Lee Allman, 75, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. He was born in Brownstown to the late Arnold E. Allman and Mary Evelyn (Reynolds) Fender.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Leesville (4340 Leesville Rd., Bedford, IN 47421) on Tuesday, May 28 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Patrick Galligar officiating. Burial will follow at Leesville Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Leesville from 10 am until time of service.

On September 23, 1967 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church Leesville, he married Mary Johnson; she survives.

He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Columbus. Wayne retired from Cummins Engine Co in 2001 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a fan of IU Basketball.

He enjoyed designing and building Oak Knoll Golf Course with his friend. His favorite place to visit was Myrtle Beach, SC.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Allman; mom, Elizabeth Allman; children, Nathan Allman (fiancee, Michelle) and Angela (Darrin) Harris; grandsons, DeMarco L. Mercado and Brody Harris; great-granddaughters, London Alayna and Arianna L. Copp; brothers, Larry R. Allman and Michael (Cathy) Allman.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Fender; and father, Arnold Allman.

Memorials may be written to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Columbus New Building Fund “Together We Live 2.0”, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
