Bob and Alberta Aynes of Freetown will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Freetown Community Center on North Union Street.

Friends and family are invited to attend. The couple have requested no gifts.

Bob and the former Alberta Akin were married May 23, 1969, at Wrays Church. The Rev. Sherman Scott officiated.

They are the parents of two children, Rosie Jaynes of Freetown and Julie Voss of Norman, and they have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Bob is retired from the USDA Forest Service, and Alberta is retired from Valeo.
