Mr. Michael H. Kriete, 67, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville. He was born in Seymour to the late Charles H. and Lorna (Koop) Kriete.

A memorial service will be held at Madison Veteran’s Cemetery on Monday, May 13 at 12 noon with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 9-11 a.m.

Mr. Kriete was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a US Marine veteran and was retired from Seymour Mack. Michael was a member of American Legion Post # 89.

He is survived by his sons, Adam M. (Mindy) Kriete and Zachary S. (Amanda) Kriete; granddaughter, Danielle; grandsons, Casen and Silas; sister, Rita Lowe; and brother, John W. Kriete.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Charles D. Kriete.

Cremation rites were accorded Mr. Kriete per his wishes.
