Opal Spall Eldridge passed away at 5:52 p.m. on May 5, 2019 at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour, IN. Opal was born on June 21, 1929 in Jackson Co., IN to the late Nelson and Sylvia (Bannister) Spall.

On Feb. 20, 1970, Opal married Herman Eldridge. Opal is a member of Uniontown Baptist Church and attended Alliance Bible Church in Crothersville, IN. She was a homemaker and retired from Morgan Foods.

Opal is survived by her cousins, Bert Bannister and Sandy Hart of Crothersville, IN and Clifford Bannister of Austin, IN, and Caregiver, Tammy (Jack) Swindell of Seymour, IN.

Opal was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Russell, Bert, Clarence, Lewis, and Francis Spall.

Public visitation will be on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 110 E. Howard St., Crothersville, IN 47229 Pastor Mark Wooten will conduct funeral services 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville with burial to follow at Crothersville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Opal to Crothersville Cemetery.
