VALLONIA

Geneva Pearl Boling Jackson, 104, died at 9:54 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at her granddaughter, Tammy Williams, home in Vallonia. She had been ill for about 2 years.

She was member of the Haleysburg Church of the Nazarene. She was retired from Panasote (Canfields). Geneva enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Her grandchildren say she made the absolute best chocolate pies and potato salad.

She was born on April 18, 1914 on the family farm in Washington County, IN to the late Willard & Polly Goodpasture Boling.

On May 30, 1933 in Salem, IN she married Emmett Jackson and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Williams of Vallonia; grandchildren, Terry, Troy, Tracy & Lana Darkis all of Vallonia, Sheila Terrell of North Vernon, Tammy Williams of Vallonia, whom she lived with for 3 1/2 years, & Amber Madden of Austin; 16 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers-Harley, Melvin, Herschel, Cecil, Elmo, & Dewey Boling, sisters-Vinnie Price & Olevia Winslow, 2 children-Lucy Mae Jackson & Norma Carol Raby, grandson-Marc Raby and 2 great grandchildren-Shane Williams & Crystal Gross.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Matt Roberts officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at Vallonia Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Haleysburg Church of the Nazarene.
