JCB recently added a new senior leader and chief financial officer, according to a news release from Marvin S. Veatch, president and chief executive officer of the Seymour-based bank.

Chad A. Key has worked in banking and public accounting throughout his career, most recently as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Salin Bank and Trust. He has more than 15 years of financial experience.

Key is a graduate of Indiana University and the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee.

He has developed and implemented numerous initiatives that led to gaining efficiencies and process improvements, Veatch said.

“I’m very excited to be joining the JCB team," Key said. "JCB has a tremendous heart for the communities and people they serve. I look forward to helping deliver this same level of service and support that only a community bank can provide.”
