Mrs. Shelby Jones, 82, of Commiskey, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born in Cary, Kentucky to the late Zeb and Gatha (Bradshaw) Laws.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 13 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Ray Anthony Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Shelby was a member of New Beginnings Church of God and enjoyed attending services there. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother that lived for her family. She was a great storyteller and all the stories were about her family. She was always getting her hair and nails done.

She is survived by her children, Sheila Stout, Michael (Janice) Jones and Tony (Mandy) Jones; grandchildren, Lashanda Henry, Travis Jones, Zachary Jones, Justin Jones, Heather Lewis, Theron Jones and Aimee Rigsby; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Custer Franklin Laws and Terry Laws; and sisters, Mary Brandenburger and Carrie James.

Shelby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Lee Jones; brothers, Edward Laws, Ernest Laws, Charlie Laws, Johnny Laws, Larry Laws, Harold Laws and Junior Laws; and son-in-law, Robert Stout.
