Clifford “Shag” Shinolt, 66, of Scipio, died February 24, 2019, at his home.

Clifford was born December 23, 1952, in Columbus, the son of Clifford A. and Blanche Crubaugh Shinolt.

Clifford retired from Cummins Engine Company. He enjoyed historic cars, especially his 1966 Chevy Nova that he restored. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Softtail and watching NASCAR.

Calling will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus. There will be no funeral service. Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to the Elizabethtown Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his brother, Ivan W. Shinolt and sister, Sandra K. Weintraut, both of Elizabethtown; a niece, Sonja M. Lewis of Indianapolis; and great-niece and nephew, Felisha Moore and Dillon Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Gary D. Bryant Jr.
